Sheila Dickinson, PhD, is a curator, an art critic and art history professor focusing on contemporary art. She’s published widely on platforms, such as Artforum, ART News, Brooklyn Rail, Hyperallergic, and Hong Kong’s Artomity. Most recently, she was Visiting Assistant Professor in the Art and Art History Department at Macalester College. She held the position of Artistic Director of the Rochester Art Center and currently teaches medical students through looking at art for the Mayo Clinic.
