ABOUT THE PODCAST: You Are Hear is a literary podcast production of mnartists.org. Each monthly edition will feature new, original work by a Minnesota writer or two. The show is available on our site, of course, but also mnartists.org’s Audioboo page (for ease of sharing and downloading). Stories, poems, humor pieces, spoken word performances and whatever else talented folks can do with nouns and verbs – all presented in downloadable audio form for you to enjoy when and where you choose. Maggie Ryan Sandford is a writer, performer, and regular contributor to ComedyCentral.com, mental_floss magazine, and MPR’s All Things Considered. Her work has appeared in Paper Darts magazine, as part of MPR’s Storycraft showcase with Kevin Kling, onstage at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, the Upright Citizens Brigade and People’s Improv Theaters in New York, and is forthcoming in a McSweeney’s political humor anthology. Melissa Louis Fletcher has previously has been published in Newsweek, Indigo Rising, X is for Xylophone, Serendipity Magazine and others to come.  She has not yet completed a chap book, but there are stories scrawled on pieces of paper littering the bottom of her work bag that may reproduce into something collective. Although living many places throughout her life, she was raised with polite Midwest sensibilities and a Native background; this mix is a theme in many of her pieces. She currently works and resides in the Twin Cities, but steadfastly remains a Wisconsin Badger football fan.
