Melissa Louis Fletcher has previously has been published in Newsweek, Indigo Rising, X is for Xylophone, Serendipity Magazine and others to come. She has not yet completed a chap book, but there are stories scrawled on pieces of paper littering the bottom of her work bag that may reproduce into something collective. Although living many places throughout her life, she was raised with polite Midwest sensibilities and a Native background; this mix is a theme in many of her pieces. She currently works and resides in the Twin Cities, but steadfastly remains a Wisconsin Badger football fan.
