Arts Writing from Mn, Beyond Mn
Wills Glasspiegel is a filmmaker, artist and organizer from Chicago. He works with The Era Footwork Crew and co-directs the nonprofit, Open the Circle. Wills’ recent film, Footnotes, debuted on the 30-story facade of the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. He has produced public radio for All Things Considered, Morning Edition and Afropop Worldwide, and has directed a range of short films, including Icy Lake, Meet the Era, and Bangin’ on King Drive. He is currently completing a PhD in American Studies and African American Studies at Yale.
