Terrion Williamson is an assistant professor of African American and African Studies at the University of Minnesota, where she is also jointly appointed in American Studies and Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies. She is the author of Scandalize My Name: Black Feminist Practice and the Making of Black Social Life (Fordham University Press, 2017) and the founding director of The Black Midwest Initiative. She is currently working on a book about black women and serial murder titled We Cannot Live Without Our Lives.
