Priyanka Basu is an art historian teaching at the University of Minnesota Morris. Her writing has been published in journals and edited volumes including The Moving Image Review & Art Journal (MIRAJ), Third Text, and Res: Anthropology and Aesthetics. Her current work is on experimental and artists’ film, and her research interests range across modern and contemporary art, the history of art history, and the environmental humanities. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and has been the recipient of awards including The Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant in 2021.
