May is a community activist, organizer, non-profit professional, and comedian/performance artist. She is a 1.5 generation, Filipina-American, who graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology and a minor in Asian American Studies. She has almost ten years of experience in education and working with youth. She organizes with pan Asian groups and multi-ethnic issue-based groups and is devoted to build bridges between communities. May is committed to dismantling white supremacy, patriarchy, and institutional racism.  May is a member of the Major League Soccer supporter group, The Dark Glitterati, is a regular at Theater Mu shows, and is an avid podcast listener of primarily BIPOC led/created podcasts.
