Matthew King is a farmer, fermenter, and artist based in Minneapolis. Their multidisciplinary work focuses on identity and relationships through a queer ecological lens, aided by more-than-human perspectives. Matthew interprets growing as art: plants and fungus play a crucial role in experimental methods designed to highlight a lived process.

Matthew’s photography has been shown in communal and private settings in the US, Peru, and South Africa. They are an upcoming Artist in Residence at Joshua Tree National Park.
