Author: Maddie Granlund Maddie Granlund

Maddie Granlund is an interdisciplinary performance artist interested in blurring the lines between liveness and simulation. Maddie’s work is often choreographic, an attempt to embody ecological/ontological theory—to viscerally understand what it means to be present and alive. Maddie has worked as associate artist with Ultimate Dancer and the Moving Company, presented installation work at North East Sculpture, and holds a B.A. in Contemporary Performance Practice from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Maddie is currently part of Red Eye Theater’s Works-in-Progress cohort and is a partner in the Southern Theater Partnership Program.
