Emily Levang (she/her) is an essayist and poet living at the headwaters of Lake Superior, where her work envisions humans caring for our Earth-body. Her work evokes our human interconnectedness with the elements, and invites us to deepen our relationship with nature.
She is the Communications Manager for Waankam: People for the Estuary, a citizen-led Rights of Nature initiative. Her work has been published in Earth Island Journal, Ensia, Braided Way, Geez Magazine, Querencia Press, and others. She is a graduate of the Stonecoast MFA in Maine.
