Future Fabulations is an essay series which intends to weave the practices and means of making that are undercurrents in the Midwest. An ardent and necessary reclamation and redefinition of who makes visual culture and why, the voices and practices highlighted will often be the creatives whose visual culture occupies multiple spaces and definitions (and perhaps eschews definition). The thread binding these projects being that the featured creatives make work that nestles itself in the future. There are many streams by which to get to these revealed and revealing glimpses toward the inevitable magnetism of the future.
