Paid Grant Panelists
Metropolitan Regional Arts Council
MRAC uses a peer-panel process to thoughtfully evaluate applications and make funding recommendations to our board of directors. Each year, we seek more than 200 artists, arts workers, and art lovers to support the most critical component of our funding cycle.
Panelists receive training and a stipend for their time. Check out the FAQs on our website to see if becoming an MRAC panelist is right for you!
If you are new panelist, please submit your information via this online form.
If you have served on an MRAC panel before or have any other questions, please email aimee@mrac.org.
Panelists must:
- be an artist, employed, or volunteer in the arts, or an active arts enthusiast,
- live in the seven-county Twin Cities metro area which includes Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington counties,
- be at least 18 years old
- be dedicated to advancing equitable grantmaking across the Twin Cities metro region.

- our Arts Impact for Individuals panel meets in January, deadline to apply is December 1st
- our Flexible Support panel meets in March, deadline to apply is February 1st
- our Next Step Fund panel meets in April, deadline to apply is March 1st
