Art of Possibilities Art Show & Sale (AOP) is a project of the Allina Health Foundation and Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute (CKRI). The first of its kind and held every year since 1963, the Art Show & Sale is a much-anticipated celebration of fine arts attracting hundreds of artists and thousands of visitors from Minnesota and around the world. AOP provides a forum for artists to sell their work, promotes the talents of artists with disabilities, and creates a cherished and inclusive community event for everyone.
A CELEBRATION IN QUALITY VISUAL ARTS
Nearly 200 artists with disabilities showcase their art each year. Artwork is reviewed online by a jury of professional artists, collectors, influencers, educators in the local arts community. All art must be an original work of art and available for sale.
ELIGIBILITY
All artists with a disability causing physical or mental impairment which substantially limits one or more major daily life activities are eligible.

ART ENTRY SPECIFICATIONS
- Up to four entries per artist.
- Entries must be summitted under artist name and contact.
- Artist must have a disability at the time of art creation.
JURY AWARDS
A jury will review all art online and present $4,500 in monetary awards. A $500 award will be presented to one artist as “Best of Show”. A $100 award will be presented as an “Encouragement Award.” First, second, third and honorable mention monetary awards and ribbons are presented in all six categories – Oil & Acrylic, Watercolor, Graphic & Printmaking, Sculpture, Photography and Mixed Media. Winners receive $250, $175, $125, and $100, respectively. All artist award payments will be issued at the conclusion of the show – August 2025.
JURY PROCESS
Artists may submit one digital image of each piece of artwork up to four entries. Images should be in JPEG format. Please take care in photographing your work to ensure a quality image. All art must be for sale for a reasonable price. Artists will be notified with an entry status of ACCEPTED (online show only) or INVITED (art displayed in-person and online). All art in the show (accepted and invited) will be reviewed online by the jury.
ART SALES
100% of the sale price goes to the artist! Artwork should be priced at a reasonable market price. AOP will coordinate the sales process and ship/deliver artwork to buyers for invited in-person art sales and will forward interested buyer information to accepted online-only artists to arrange the sale.
