Torey Erin is a Minneapolis-based curator, writer, and interdisciplinary artist primarily working in land art, film, book art, and installation. Her work engages with socio-political ideas, ecological resilience, and non-duality. Torey’s first large-scale land artwork, Love Letters to the Earth, is a community garden in Fargo, North Dakota, where participants shared their gratitude, love, devotions and sorrows for the Earth on handmade perennial seed paper, which they planted in the garden to grow. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Landscape Architecture at the University of Minnesota, with a focus in applying design practices to mitigate climate change and address environmental and social justice for all beings.
