Stephanie Lynn Rogers is interested in the relationships between human beings and other organisms. Rogers’ background is in photography; she merges that training with interests in video, fabrics, and installation to place photographic imagery in specific contexts.
Rogers earned an MFA in Photography and a Graduate Certificate in Community Arts Practices from Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia. She also holds a BA in Studio Art from St. Olaf College. Rogers’ work has been exhibited in places such as New York City (25 East Gallery at Parson’s), Brisbane, Australia (The Hold Artspace), Philadelphia (Icebox Gallery and Temple Contemporary), and Minneapolis (Intermedia Arts and the Northrup King Building), among others.
