Author: Olive Bieringa Olive Bieringa

Olive’s work emerges from the body, both as an objective physical process and as a subjective lived experience, through dance, film, installation, social practice, pedagogy, and curatorial practice. Her research is centered around embodiment, empathy, perception, presence, and representation.
She co-directs the BodyCartography Project with her partner Otto Ramstad. The mission of BodyCartography Project is to investigate embodiment and empathy, and provoke aliveness.
