IMAGE Art Show

This is the 37th year of IMAGE, an annual judged art show, sponsored by the East Central Regional Arts Council (ECRAC). In the past, the IMAGE Art Show was hosted by various art groups, organizations, or groups of individuals interested in the arts. For the last 10 years, ECRAC has been honored to host the show and the number of entrants has greatly increased!

This year the IMAGE Art Show will take place at the Grand Event Center in Mora, Minnesota, on December 6, 7 & 8, 2024.

There is no fee to participate in IMAGE. However, artists or culture bearers wishing to exhibit a work of visual art in the IMAGE Art Show must read and complete the online entry form and submit it before or on the deadline date of November 12, 2024, at noon. No late entries can be accepted.

All IMAGE Art Show exhibitors must be at least 18 years old and be residents of Region 7E (the Minnesota Counties of Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Pine, and the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe lands). Artwork must be original (conceived and executed by you, the artist exhibitor- not from a pattern), recent (completed within the last three years), and the artwork must not have been exhibited in prior IMAGE Art Shows. This is not a juried show, ECRAC encourages creators of all levels to enter.

• People’s Choice – $550
• Excellence Award (ten overall) – $450
• Merit Awards (ten overall) – $350

IMAGE 2024 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Online Entry Deadline:

• Before or on November 12, 2024, at noon

Artwork Drop Off:

• Wednesday, December 4th Noon to 7pm at the Grand Event Center, Mora
• Thursday, December 5th 9am to 2pm at the Grand Event Center, Mora

Artwork Pick Up:

• Sunday, December 8th 2pm to 4pm (after the show closes) at the Grand Event Center, Mora

IMAGE Art Show displayed at the Grand Event Center Mora:

• Friday, December 6, Noon to 7pm
• Saturday, December 7, Noon to 7pm
• Sunday, December 8, 10am to 2pm

Awards Ceremony:

• The Awards Ceremony will be on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, at 2 pm. 
• People’s Choice Award will be announced on Sunday after the show closes and the ballots are counted.

Award winners will be invited to exhibit at a date to be determined at the ECRAC Gallery in Hinckley.
