Building Bridges: Of Brick & Mortar and Of Heart & Mind – Juried Gallery Exhibition

On Sunday, February 23rd, the Sower Gallery will open “Building Bridges,” a juried gallery exhibition

featuring artwork that speaks of bridges, both literal and figurative.  Any medium will be accepted.  So, we are calling all artists to submit up to 6 pieces of artwork.  There is no charge for submitting artwork.  The gallery staff uses great care while handling, hanging and moving all artwork, but cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs during the duration of the show.  Thank you!

Submission Requirements

You may submit up to six images.  All entries must be submitted electronically in JPG format only.  Email your images along with the completed form below to: info@SowerGallery.com with “Bridges” and your last name in the email subject line.

Image file names must include artist’s last name and title of the piece in the following format: daVinci_MonaLisa.jpg

All hanging work must be properly matted, framed, and wired for hanging – gallery wrapped canvases and prints on metal will also be accepted with clean neat edges. As with any juried exhibition the juror may select any, one, all, or none of your entered images. The decision of the jury is final. The Sower Gallery will charge a 10% commission on all gallery sales. Please note whether the works are for sale and the retail price for each.

Notification of Accepted Work………………………. Tuesday, February 11th (or earlier)

Delivery of Artwork to Gallery………………………. Saturday, February 22nd from 2 – 4p

Artists Reception:…………………………………………. Sunday, March 9th from 12 – 2p

Pick-up After Exhibit:……………………………………. Monday, April 28 from 4 – 6p
