Bounty and Belonging: The Art of Abundance
The Cora McCorvey Health and Wellness Center
The Cora McCorvey Health and Wellness Center announces their spring and summer group fine art exhibit, “Bounty and Belonging: The Art of Abundance” with an open call to Minnesota based artists to exhibit 2D work who are age 50 and above.
What does it mean to belong—not just to be included, but to thrive? How do we move beyond scarcity and isolation into a space of richness, connection, and creative abundance?
Bounty and Belonging: The Art of Abundance invites artists to explore the ways in which communities claim space, build networks of care, celebrate the wealth of culture, history, and the world around them. This exhibition challenges the myth of scarcity and embraces a vision of belonging rooted in shared creativity, mutual support, and the affirmation that there is more than enough—of love, of heritage, and possibility—to go around.
We are seeking works that illuminate the ways abundance manifests in our lives, whether through food and nourishment, ancestral knowledge, radical hospitality, or the bold act of taking up space. How do we create belonging? How do we cultivate plenty? How does art itself serve as a source of bounty? Let’s create a space where belonging is claimed, nurtured, and celebrated.
