About the Exhibition Program
Each year Artistry presents approximately five exhibitions in each the Inez Greenberg Gallery and the Atrium Gallery showcasing artistically excellent artwork executed in a variety of media and styles that express a wide range of creative voices.
Emerging and established artists, artist groups, and exhibit curators residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin who are 18 years or older are invited to submit a proposal for the 2025-2026 exhibition program. All proposals must be received by November 3, 2024, to be considered.
Proposals will be reviewed by a curatorial panel who will select proposals based upon the following criteria:
- Quality of the artwork/artistic excellence
- Creativity and originality
- Technical skills
- Overall exhibition proposal
Selected artists may be combined (by Artistry) to create a small group show or chosen for a solo exhibition to create a dynamic and exciting exhibition program for the given year that showcases a variety of visual art mediums, subjects, and techniques by a wide range of creative voices (i.e., a variety of ethnic, cultural, and gender representation) while always expressing a high standard of artistic excellence. In addition to proposals selected through a jury panel process, Artistry may also invite exhibition curators to hand select artists for a particular exhibition or invite artists directly to exhibit. Applicants will be notified by November 27, 2024, of the curatorial panel’s decision.
Artistry seeks to increase the diversity of its exhibiting artists – BIPOC artists are encouraged to apply.
